Pastor’s Perspective March 2024

Pastor’s Perspective March 2024

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

(Psalm 34:1 (KJV)

Hopewell, we have had another exciting, enlightening, and empowering Black History Celebration. Again, I want to thank Sis. Lakay Wilkerson, the Black History Committee, and everyone who participated in making this year’s celebration memorable. When we consider the current context and culture in which we are living, it is vital that we do not become desensitized to our struggle and our plight as a people. Also, I want to thank everyone, especially the leaders of each month, for sacrificially giving to our Kingdom Building by Birth. In spite of the existing economic environment, God blessed us to give our very Best. Thank You!

Now, as we enter the month of March there is ecclesiastical excitement in anticipation of celebrating Resurrection Sunday. This year on Good Friday, our Performing Arts Ministry, will present a play entitled “The Betrayal of Christ” written by our own Sis. Lakeshia Flint. I am asking every member to be in attendance and invite at least ten (10) guests to witness this transforming presentation. I am expecting a salvific move of God in our midst. And of course, Resurrection Sunday we will gather at 9:30 am. to celebrate that momentous event in history when our Savior rose from the grave with all power.

Hopewell, I encourage you in the words of David, to praise God no matter what challenge confronts you or circumstance concerns you. Just remember we are to praise God not only on the mountain but also in the valley. As we often declare, “He Is Worthy to Be Praise!

So, as always, I humbly ask you to honor our covenantal agreement to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Manifesting The Power Of God,

Pastor R. C.  Stanley
