Pastor’s Perspective August 2026

Pastor’s Perspective August 2026

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: Psalm 92:1 (KJV)

Hopewell, I am deeply grateful to God for the blessings He has given us since 1946. Because we have devoted ourselves to Him, He has always provided for our needs and fulfilled our expectations. And I am confident that the greatest days for this ministry are still ahead. Therefore, the words of the Psalmist remind us that continual thankfulness is a testament to the evidence of God’s presence and provisions. As we step into August, let’s continue to hold on to that spirit of gratitude as we move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and divine guidance.

This month, we anticipate revival, renewal, and rejoicing as we gather with thankful hearts. On August 14th at 7 PM, our Dance Ministry will inspire us with their presentation: Revival: Testimonies of Jubilee. I am certain we’ll be abundantly blessed as we gather with thankful hearts.

Then, on August 15th at 10 AM, The Women’s Ministry will present “The seven Ships of Sisterhood” exploring the seven Ships that are significant for spiritual growth and enduring Sisterhood.

On the third Sunday, August 16th, Bro. Joshua Stanley will deliver his initial sermon, known as a trial sermon, as part of the process to become a licensed minister. Finally, on the fifth Sunday, during our I-Shift Intergenerational service, we’ll take a closer look at social media, discussing both its positive and negative effects on our daily lives.

So, Hopewell, let’s commit to attending and participating in these gatherings and please invite your friends and family to join us.

As always, I encourage you to follow me as I follow Christ.

Progressing with a Fresh Divine Direction,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
