Pastor’s Perspective October 2025

Pastor’s Perspective October 2025

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Cor. 2:9)

Hopewell again, from the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest appreciation for the genuine love, encouragement, and thoughtful gestures you extended to the First Family during our 36th pastoral anniversary. Whether it was your kind words, acts of service, or heartfelt gratitude, your steadfast support truly lifted us up and made this celebration incredibly special. Your kindness means the world to us, and we feel truly blessed to be part of such a caring and supportive congregation. Thank you!

As October begins, let’s embrace this month with excitement and optimism. God has shown His goodness to each of us, and we have so much to be thankful for. That’s why I’m declaring this month “Optimistic October.” First, let’s give thanks to God for the successful completion of our 3G project. I want to extend my gratitude to the project contractor, Rev. Arthur Forrest; the project manager, Deacon John Woodson; and the sound and media team, Bro. Wallace Smith, Bro. Martin Walker, and Bro. Douglas Wallace, for their dedicated service and hard work.

I am pleased to announce that we will hold our Dedication Service for the 3G Ministry renovation project on November 9th, followed by our Inaugural 3G Service on November 16th. Let’s prepare our hearts for a powerful move of God as we seek to meet the needs of Millennials, Gen Z, and Alpha generations. I encourage every member to invite friends and family to both the Dedication and the first 3G Ministry service.

Finally, I am excited to share that our first single, “Fire By Himself”, will be released this month. I want to thank Bro. Carlton Williams and The Remnant of Praise for their dedication and commitment to this project. Soon, I’ll share how we can all help promote the single and the entire Remnant of Praise album.

As I begin my 37th year of pastoral service, Hopewell, I humbly ask that you continue to honor our covenant and follow me as I follow Christ.

Experiencing God’s Abundant Grace,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
