Pastor’s Perspective November 2025

Pastor’s Perspective November 2025

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. (1 Samuel 12:24)20

Hopewell, we truly have much to be thankful and grateful for. God has manifested his presence, and we have witnessed his miraculous power among us. Because of our faithfulness to God and the things of God, He has honored our faith and expanded our ministry. Therefore, welcome to Noteworthy November! During the month of November, we shall celebrate many significant and remarkable events.

First, on Second Sunday we will dedicate our renovation project and consecrate the launch of Hopewell’s 3G Impact Ministry. This will be a historical event that will position Hopewell’s Ministry and equip us to serve this present age. And I am asking each member to personally invite at least three (3) guests to help us celebrate this enormous occasion.

Secondly, as I mentioned last month our first single, “Fire By Himself”, has been released, and I am asking every member to support by downloading the single and encouraging your friends and family to support this inspiring project. And next year we are anticipating releasing the entire album.

And finally, let us prepare to celebrate our annual Goodwill Thanksgiving Feast on Saturday November 22nd. I want to thank Rev. Habersham and the outreach ministry members for their commitment and dedication each year. Because of their faithfulness we have blessed many lives as well as led many to Christ.  I also want to thank each auxiliary, ministry and member for your presence and support. Hopewell, it is truly a blessing to serve our community, as well as witness God transform the lives of many as we demonstrate His unconditional love.

Finally, in the words of Samuel to Israel in 1 Samuel 12:24, he encourages them not to forget all the great things God had done for them. Hopewell, let us be ever mindful of all the great things God has done to us, for us, and through us since 1946. And remember we are blessed not because we are better, but because we are faithful. Therefore, let us continue to be faithful to God and the things of God. And let us never become weary in well doing, for we shall reap, if we faint not.

Again, Hopewell I ask you to continue to honor our covenant, to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Experiencing God’s Abundant Grace,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
