Pastor’s Perspective November 2024

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; (Ephesians 5:20)

Hopewell, in the words of Deacon Marvin Lowe, the Chairman of our Executive Board, we have come to the 11th mile of our journey in 2024. And we can truly say without hesitation that God has been good. We have met and conquered every challenge, as well as maintained significant progress. I want to thank everyone for your sacrificial financial support for our 3G project. It is an exciting time for all of us, especially our youth. We are hopeful that we will receive our permit to commence the renovation this month.

I am also excited about our annual Goodwill Thanksgiving Feast celebration, and again I am asking every member to invite your family and friends to this wonderful celebration of Faith, Fellowship, and Food. I want to thank Rev. Habersham and the outreach Ministry, all Ministries and Auxiliaries, as well as the entire congregation for your participation and support. Let us come expecting God to move in a miraculous way as we share the Love of God through fervent worship, genuine benevolence and sincere thanksgiving.

In the words of the apostle Paul to the church of Ephesus in  , we are reminded of how we ought to be thankful to God for all things. God, by His fresh mercies give us fresh occasion for thanksgiving, and we must without hesitation continue to give thanks through the whole course of our lives without weariness. Why, because no matter what we have encountered God has caused all things to work together for our good. So, this thanksgiving celebration, let us forever be reminded that it is always a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and Bless His name.

Hopewell, as always, as we come closer to the end of 2024, I want to thank you for continuing to accept the covenant to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Manifesting The Power of God,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
