Pastor’s Perspective March 2026

Pastor’s Perspective March 2026

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” 1 Corinthians 1:10

Hopewell, we have had an outstanding Black History celebration. The saying, “every rung goes higher and higher” is certainly applicable. This year was stella, the black history museum was truly amazing, and it fortified our faith and revived our resilience for the continual struggle for total independence. Again, I want to thank Sis. Wilkerson, the Black History Committee and all participants for a job well done. Hopewell, we are indeed a blessed church and ministry, and we stand on the shoulders of our faithful founders. That’s a good place to say Amen!

Of course, the month of March is filled with just as much expectation and excitement. First, I am ecstatic to announce that we can now purchase The Remnant of Praise Live Album digitally from our website. I want to thank Sis. Joyce Thomas, Sis. Christine Petit-Pointe, and Bro. Joshua Stanley for making this possible. Hopewell, again, this album has been a labor of love, and I am thankful to everyone who was involved in making it possible. And now it is our responsibility to collectively make it a success. So, again, I am asking every individual member to go on our website and purchase the album and also commit to encouraging at least 10 of your family members, friends, and co-workers to also make a purchase.

Hopewell, this is our album and if we don’t purchase it, how can we expect others to. Can I get an Amen!

Also, this month we will have our first i-Shift Intergenerational Service which promises to be a fresh worship experience for every generation. We will strengthen each generation through relevant information and inspiration that will empower us individually and collectively.  So, I am asking every member to please invite at least 3 individuals from your generation to attend this great service.

And finally, I want to thank everyone for being a Gideon Giver. We have made a great impact in the elimination of our mortgage, and I am convinced that by July 19th we will have a grand 80th Church Anniversary. Another good place to say Amen!!!

So, Hopewell again, I ask that you honor our sacred covenant and “Follow me even as I follow Christ”.

Progressing with a Fresh Divine Directive,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
