Pastor’s Perspective March 2023

Pastor’s Perspective March 2023

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)

Hopewell, we have had another outstanding Black History Celebration, and our knowledge of our history, rich and resilient, has been increased and reenforced. Again, I want to thank Sis. Lakay Wilkerson and the entire Black History committee, and all participants for a job well done. And to top it off, we as a congregation manifested the power of Psalm 133:1-3, when we accepted the challenge to reach our goal and came together in unity and exceeded it.  Again, I want to thank every member from the basement of my heart for your support and sacrificial gifts. Because of our resistance to defeat the notion that we cannot achieve realistic goals, we have again proven, Yes, We Can! Hallelujah!!!

Now as we commence the month of March, we are poised to continue to experience regathering success. I want to encourage everyone to remain committed to our Corporate Worship, Tuesday Inspirational service, and all of our Zoom platforms; God is truly blessing us. I am so excited over the fact that we are recommitting ourselves with a new perspective. There is a perpetual presence of praise and worship in our midst that is authentic and liberating. Therefore, let us continue to gather with a spirit of expectation to witness God do exceedingly and abundantly above all we may ask or think.

Again, let us be intentional in our regathering, recommitting, and renewing as we navigate through this post pandemic.

As always, I humbly ask that you continue to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Recommitting to Serving God with Renewed Perspective,

Pastor R. C. Stanley
