Pastor’s Perspective April 2025

Pastor’s Perspective April 2025

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

Hopewell, we have had a magnificent March, God has truly manifested His presence and power in this house. I am so grateful and thankful to God for allowing us to experience His abundant Grace and intervening Power. I have heard many testimonies from those who have witnessed the favor and intervening power of God in their family, in their health, in their finances, and in their spiritual development. To God Be The Glory!

As we enter into the month of April, expect the Abundance of God to overtake you. Yes, this is Abundant April, and I encourage each of us to anticipate God to pour His manifold blessings upon each of us. The word abundant denotes that which is superadded to make life happy. We are not to simply have life, or barely exist, but we are to have all those superadded things which are needful to make life eminently blessed and happy. And of course this is not restricted to wealth, but abundant growth in our spiritual life, peace in our family, love in our marriage, and joy in our fellowship. This abundance should be witnessed in our worship, in our praise, and in our sharing. And on Third Sunday we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and once risen Savior Jesus The Christ. Which also reminds us of the abundant Love God has bestowed upon us in that He gave his Son, and His Son gave His life, was buried and rose that we might have life and have it more abundantly. So, let us prepare ourselves and expect to experience the same power that raised Jesus from the grave.

Hopewell, God has been truly good to all of us, and He has met each of our needs, so let us demonstrate our appreciation for all He has done for us by abundantly serving Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength.

Therefore, Hopewell as always, I beseech you to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Experiencing God’s Intervening Power,
