Pastor’s Perspective April 2024

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!     (Psalm 133:1)

Hopewell, we had a magnificent March and God has truly blessed us with His presence and His power. I want to thank Sis. Lakeshia Flint for an outstanding performing arts presentation. God has richly blessed her with unmatched creativity as she brought the Betrayal of Christ into the living rooms of our lives through monologues and liturgical dance. Everyone present was truly challenged to deal with their own moments of Betrayals. It was a glorious presentation and I encourage you to view it on Facebook or YouTube.

Now as we enter the month of April, we are in for another outstanding presentation. On the third and fourth Sunday, we will have our first Visionary Men of Valor and Virtuous Women of Victory 2.0 Unity worship service.  In the word of the Psalmist, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. And as we know, God commands His blessings wherever He finds unity.

Therefore, in the spirit of unity, the Men will serve on Third Sunday and the Women will serve on Fourth Sunday. I am asking for the full participation of all of our men and women to get in where you fit in and invite at least 10 guest to experience this amazing worship experience.

Also, I want to thank every member for supporting The 3G Project, as we draw closer to beginning our renovation of Hopewell West for our Generation Z, Generation Alpha, and Generation Beta. This facility is going to be a magnet for our youth and a safe place for them to fortify their faith with God and their fellowship with each other, as well as have some wholesome fun and entertainment.

Hopewell, in these uncertain times, let us continue to put our trust in God as we encounter unexpected challenges and unpleasant circumstances, for He who has promised is faithful.

And in closing, as always, I humbly ask that you to continue to follow me even as I follow Christ.
