Pastor’s Perspective September 2025

Pastor’s Perspective September 2025

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Eph. 3:20)

Hopewell, as we continue to walk in the light of God’s Abundant Grace and experience His intervening power, we have been blessed to witness His hand moving in our midst often in miraculous and unexpected ways. Through our faithfulness and wholehearted service, God has graciously provided for every need, both individually as well as collectively. Our willingness to serve Him without reservation has deepened our faith and bolstered our trust in His unfailing promises. Just as Paul reminded the believers in Ephesus, we are encouraged to know that God is supremely able to address every need and concern, by the power at work within us. Therefore, welcome to Sensational September.

I am filled with great expectation that God will do extraordinary and exceptional things among us this month. We are on the verge of completing our 3G Project renovation, and I am bursting with anticipation for how God will transform our training ground into the 3G Impact Ministry. Once again, I call upon our Gen Z, Alpha, and Beta generations to prepare to join this remarkable ministry, a ministry poised to make a profound and lasting impact on our community for generations to come. To God be the glory!

Additionally, I am thrilled to announce that, this month, we will release a single from our recent live recording. My heartfelt thanks go to Minister of Music Carlton Williams and our dedicated choir for their unwavering commitment and perseverance in bringing this vision to life. Let us prepare ourselves to be inspired by their anointed voices and to celebrate the fruit of their labor.

Now, we find ourselves approaching a milestone of thirty-six years of Pastoral service. Hopewell, words cannot fully express how deeply grateful Alene and I are to serve as your Spiritual Leaders for thirty-six years. While we recognize that there are more years behind us than before us, our commitment to serve this great ministry wholeheartedly and faithfully remains steadfast until God releases us. I offer my sincere thanks in advance to President Gloria Wallace and the Pastor’s Anniversary Committee (PAC) for all the thoughtful plans they have set in motion, as well as to each of you for your acts of kindness and the heartfelt tributes that will be shared during this year’s celebration. I echo the wise words of Sis. Alene Stanley: “People don’t have to be nice; it’s a choice.”

Hopewell, it would bring us no greater joy than to see your faces at as many scheduled events as possible. Your presence is a gift that holds more value than we can express, and we eagerly look forward to celebrating these thirty-six years of pastoral service with you. As always, I humbly ask that you continue to honor our covenant, to follow me, as I follow Christ.

In the fullness of God’s Abundant Grace,

Pastor R.C. Stanley
