Pastor’s Perspective March 2025

Pastor’s Perspective March 2025

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  (1 Cor. 1:10)

Hopewell, again, we have had another inspiring, informative, and insightful Black History Celebration. I want to thank Sis. Lakay Wilkerson, the Black History Committee, and everyone who participated in making this year’s celebration a wonderful success. I also want to thank everyone for your support and sacrificial gifts.

Now, as we enter the month of March, I am still extremely excited about what God is doing in our midst. We are truly experiencing God’s abundant Grace and His intervening power. God has opened doors, healed bodies, provided needs, and restored relationships. And I submit to you that we will continue to experience these divine blessings. I am also excited about the 3G project and the swift progress we are witnessing. I want to thank Rev. Arthur Forrest and Deacon John Woodson for their labor and leadership. Hopewell, let us stand ready in solidarity to support this 3G project to its completion. As Paul said to the Church of Corinth, let us be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. There is absolutely nothing we cannot accomplish together.

Hopewell, I also want to encourage each of us to be sober, sensitive, and serious concerning this present age. Don’t be deceived, in spite of what we are witnessing in the world, especially here in America, God is in control. Therefore, let us be faithful to God and the things concerning God.

Finally, we will celebrate our first I-Shift service this month, and I am asking every member to invite a family member to be a part of this empowering and life-changing service. If there has ever been a time for families to be unified and fortified it is now.

So, as always, I humbly ask you to honor our covenantal agreement to follow me even as I follow Christ.

Experiencing God’s Abundant Grace,

Pastor R. C.  Stanley
