Pastor’s Perspective October 2024

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
(Psalm 124:1)

Hopewell, Alene, Josh, Kimberly, and I want to say thank you from the depths of our hearts for all acts of kindness extended to each of us during our 35th Pastoral Anniversary celebration. Thanks again, to Evangelist Gloria Wallace, president of the PAC, and the entire committee for an extraordinary Anniversary Celebration. We are still talking about how much we enjoyed every tribute, dance, song, and skit.
Alene and I are so grateful to God for the undeserved privilege to serve this exceptional congregation. The words of David in Psalm 124:1, truly express the reason for our longevity and success. It was only because the Lord was on our side that we have been able as a ministry to experience such growth and prosperity. And I look forward to leading this wonderful congregation until God says my assignment is done.

As we enter the month of October there is so much to be excited about. We anticipate the beginning of the renovation of the 3G project, and I want to thank everyone for unselfishly giving of your time, talent, and treasure to make this 3G project a success.

I am also excited about the Women’s Ministry Bold and Beautiful Cruise; I know the women are going to have a very enriching and edifying fellowship. Also, I want to ask every member to support the celebrity basketball game on October 18th at 7:00 PM at Blanche Ely High School. The Pastors of Broward will play against the politicians of Broward. I will be one of the Pastors playing, please consider coming out and supporting the return of the “Iceman”.

Hopewell, as I enter my 36th year of Pastoral service, again, I ask you to continue to honor our covenant and follow me even as I follow Christ.

Manifesting The Power of God,
Pastor R. C. Stanley
